Helping Others

Today We Read the Story "The Little Red Hen"
Each of the children picked a farm animal puppet to be, and we acted out the story. "Not I said the"..... was fun to repeat, each time the little red hen asked for help.
Pictures of the story were colored and then glued into sequence order.
Last but not least we all went home with RED hands after we stamped our hands to make a fun hen on the outside of an envelope full of pictures of ways we can help others. Hopefully each time we see the little red hen, we can be reminded to help others.
In honor of the Little Red Hen, we had bread and jam for our snack.
#10 was the number for the day. We made a paper doll chain with 10 children. We put faces and colored clothing onto them. Afterwards we learned to do a DOT-TO-DOT with finding the numbers 1-10. During Singing time, we sang "One little, Two little, Three little Friends"
